Cart-olina is an inspiring world of curiously unique product and design. Our historic location, in a former 1890s miner’s hotel in Nelson BC, houses our flagship retail store and our wholesale stationery company.

The Building
Built in 1894, the west portion of the Tremont Hotel went through many lives until we acquired the building in 2014. Situated among a collection of beautifully restored heritage buildings on Nelson's Baker Street, the building is a fine example of 1890s architecture - brick construction, stacked cornices, fine masonry detail, pressed tin ceilings and original wood floors.

The Cart-olina store is a one of a kind retail experience. Offering a beautiful selection of paper goods, gifts, personal accessories and home accents. The truly inspiring interior creates a lovely environment to shop or to browse. More ...
